Gigabyte B650 EAGLE AX: which Wi-Fi driver fits your revision?

B650 EAGLE AX rev. 1.0 and 1.1 use different wireless modules. Match Realtek or Intel drivers to the PCB before installing.

Gigabyte lists Realtek RTL8852CE for B650 EAGLE AX rev. 1.0 and Intel AX210 for rev. 1.1. The shared product name alone is not enough to choose a wireless driver.

Read the PCB revision

Find the REV marking on the motherboard. It is different from the BIOS version and driver release number. This article covers rev. 1.0 and 1.1; rev. 1.2 has a separate product page.

Open the specification and driver page for that revision and select the operating system actually installed.

Match the device rather than guessing

For rev. 1.0, select the matching Realtek wireless package; for rev. 1.1, select Intel. Bluetooth may have a separate download, so functioning Wi-Fi does not establish that Bluetooth is configured.

If the marking is unclear or the module was replaced, inspect the adapter or unknown network controller in Device Manager. Its Details tab can expose Hardware Ids. Compare those with supported device information instead of repeatedly running unrelated installers.

Install without an internet connection

Use another trusted computer or a working wired connection to obtain the package from Gigabyte. Copy the installer or extracted driver files to USB and follow the package instructions.

Keep the downloaded files until connectivity works. Restart if requested, then check that Device Manager shows the intended adapter without an error. Attach the external antennas and confirm Wi-Fi is enabled before assessing signal quality.

Separate adapter and network problems

If the adapter exists but only one network is unreachable, investigate that connection separately. A missing adapter is a different problem from weak signal, incorrect network credentials or an unavailable access point.

If the device remains absent after the correct package is installed, record the revision, hardware IDs, Windows version and error code for support.

Use the manufacturer's source instead of driver-aggregator downloads. Do not flash firmware for another EAGLE variant in an attempt to force a mismatched driver to work.

The useful result is a positively identified module and a repeatable installation path, not simply an installer reporting that it has finished.
